23 Brits Share the Craziest Way They Found Out Their Partner Was Cheating
There are few experiences more demoralizing than discovering your partner's infidelity, but even within that horrible experience, some ways of learning are worse than others. The Brits can be notorious for their sloppy behavior, and this edition of crazy cheating stories comes courtesy of the r/CasualUK subreddit.
It's amazing that people who cheat are so dumb about the ways they go about it. I guess it makes sense since infidelity is stupid to begin with. One woman here describes her "stupid ex," who decided to sign up for an online dating service using their shared email. Unaware that you could turn off email message notifications, he would typically rush home from work first and delete them. But one day she got home first and found the emails. Even though a password was required to log on to his account, the reset password link went straight to the same email, and all the proof anyone could ever ask for was there plain as day. Now that's dumb.
But while deleting evidence can help cheaters go uncut for longer, sometimes it arouses suspicion on its own. When one wife noticed that her car's dashcam had full days deleted, it didn't take her long to realize that those days correlated with her husband's trips. Read about those, and other Brits who found out their partner was cheating.
